It’s our first-ever LVPGC craft challenge. We hope you’ll use this and future challenges to push your creative envelop and discover something about your skills as a crafter. Oh yeah, and have some fun with it, too.

The LVPGC Craft Challenge
March – April 2010 Theme: Spring
Challenge Due Date: April 20, 2010. Bring your finished to piece to our 7:30 p.m. meeting at Emmaus Moravian Church, Emmaus, PA.
The Rules
- You must be a LVPGC member to participate.
- Each participant pays $1 to enter the contest. The Best of Show Winner will receive 50% of the proceeds. The other 50% of the proceeds will go to the LVPGC.
- The final product must relate to the theme decided up by the chapter.
- One item per crafter per Challenge.
- You may create a product that is in your juried medium or another medium.
- Please do not discard your item as we made use it in future Guild displays or craft shows.
- If you would like to participate but can’t make it to the meeting because of extenuating circumstances (say death, because we know you really want to be at our meetings), you may send a photograph of your piece to Susan@RedTailDesigns.com at least 24 hours before the meeting.
Further Encouragements
- We encourage you to provide an artist statement of 50 words or less to accompany your piece, although this is not required.
- We encourage you to take a photograph of your item before you bring it to the Craft Challenge meeting.
- Keep your final piece in a prominent place in your work area to remind you of all your are capable of.
The Fine Print
Any item you create may be photographed for use in LVPGC and PA Craft Guild media to publicize our organizations.
